...So... I decided to go to the Game shop, just to enquire. I proposed the information on the website to him about the continuous 3 balls chasing each other, about the fact that when I checked stock availability in store, I got different information; some stores said no stock, and some said no stock reservation. I proposed that my understanding of no stock is no stock, but no stock reservation to me means there is stock but none of this stock is available to be reserved, you can only buy when you come in.
the guy has no clue whatsoever. He looked like he just wanted to go home. He said they've had multiple complaints about the website. He has no clue when the store will have stock (and maybe not at all). the God thing I got from there is, he confirmed the website is a joke and advised that I don't use it to save myself some stress.
I've spoken to a couple of my local Game stores and the response has been the same in that no one pre ordered them hence why the in store stock levels are low. Both times the staff seemed quite angry as if we had brought this on ourselves by not being better prepared!!! I wonder if they are just getting fed up of being asked?
The last time Game indicated stock that actually allowed anybody to buy them was 4th December. Since then, any indications that showed stock has resulted in nobody being able to add to basket. As most of you know this has happened multiple times this week.

Not sure how but my partner managed to go into Argos and reserved one to pick up on Tuesday. Not sure if the staff are meant to do that? Will find out in due course if I manage to get it or not.
She also went to Currys just before Argos and was told that braehead in Glasgow is going to get a stock of 20 portal units at some point...(but the staff member did not know when)

At my local Argos now, told that they were expecting stock on 19th / 20th however, these will all be cancelled apparently

Got my one today, phoned my local Argos (in Aberdeen), they had no stock but told me another close by had and immediately reserved it for me. Collected it not long ago. So happy. It’s worth just phoning around folks.
Tried for ages cannot get past the purple dots and to be honest fed up of trying with game the website is a joke!
Sadly far too many scalpers ruining for the genuine people out here. It’s a complete joke!
