Walked into Argos in Inverness today and got one they got only 4 in to sell you xant reserve online because they are trying to out do the Bots so we get a chance by having to go instore so peeps don't give up I would keep giving Argos a try...another idea is to phone them up to get a reservation fingers crossed for ya all

Amazon is beyond a joke now with this - they are gone as soon as they are available then they turn up on marketplace for £350. They need to sort this as it’s ridiculous.
They are just releasing single units that are cancelled or returned orders. Unfortunately, we can't tell the difference we just know they have the item for sale and usually it is gone before anybody acts on our Telegram unverified alerts. Automated bots usually get these as soon as they are made available for sale.

I will never understand how huge companies like this release things like this a month before Christmas but don’t make enough to keep up with the demand. It was clear this would be extremely popular and they should have prepared to have plenty to ensure people wouldn’t be struggling so close to Christmas. Bromley area literally has no stock, I honestly feel like I will never get one :( there are plenty on Facebook marketplace etc that I would happily pay the extra for to ensure I had one for my son but I’m too worried they will be tampered with or not legit :(
Doesn’t get much better, I pre ordered when they first announced it. I got one and the R2 button broke sent it back over a week ago and they are just sitting on it. Doubt I’ll get a replacement so hunting for a new one. Went to Smyths and they even said they got a shipment in but didn’t bother to put it online so would show on stock checker!
Oh wow that would be so frustrating!! The closest smyths to me is 35 minutes away and all the Argos’s near me haven’t had any in :( I hope you manage to get another!
Maybe try eBay if they’re not too expensive? At least you’ll have to option to return then if you have any problems
The price on eBay should start falling soon because the other day there were only about 18 PlayStation Portal's listed. This rose slightly to 50+ the other day but now there are over 360 listed from the recent drops.
I’ve never bought from eBay so unsure of the process of it if something went wrong/what rights for a refund you get if it’s not right
Usually eBay will always back the buyer and accept a return/refund if you show proof that’s it’s damaged or faulty etc, most likely it’s just people re selling for profit so you should be fine
Does anyone know the difference on game from "No stock for reservation" to "No Stock - Currently unavailable" some stores show the first option while other show the second one
Idk the difference but I reserved one at game last week, got a text/email saying it was ready to collect but when I got there they had no idea about it and said game haven’t had any stock in since first release
