Same here, I can't work out if they have stock or the button just becomes active. Was the same yesterday afternoon, can't imagine their sites getting hammered at 3am
Not sure what's going on with Game. Usually, when the Buy New button is available you can add to basket and if it's sold out then it will let you know. At the moment when Buy New is active and you click it - it does nothing?
The weirdest thing might just be happen right now. During the Amazon release. I managed to add a device to basket. But couldn’t check out . So I chatted Amazon and exprés my frustration.
They offered me £100 voucher to buy a £299 one. So literally I’ll still be paying £199.
I’m still chatting now. Not sure if I should accept or not.
And no I’m not lying. I have screenshots of the chats to prove

I’m being offered option to buy any one of my choice for my price . All I just need to pay is £199. Whatever the price difference is, they are offering to balance it. Well the personnel I’m chatting says they are.
Update on the situation.
I was offered to get any of the listed ones sold for prices more than £199. They even sent me the link and told me to initiate a purchase and they will generate a voucher.
Some of you might be angry with this. I declined I told the agent I chatted with that I was unable to check out the one I added to basked and would rather wait for that one than pay extra to the people ripping others off. So Yh I declined.
He escalated my problem to some team who promised to look into it and reserve me 1 in the next stock release cos they could see that there was some fault.
Even if that’s a lie. It’s all good. I don’t regret refusing one sold for more than 199.

Walked into Telford smyths store and they had four behind the counter ,first time I looked today and got 1 rrp.
Up to this evening Smyths had been showing expected stock Dec23. That’s now changed to TBC24
If it can help anyone hesitating : I received mine from VERY. I’m on 600mbps, my ps5 is connected via Ethernet. I tweaked settings and cannot even explain how much lag I’m getting.
A few friends also have one / had one and have sold.
I’ve asked for a refund on mine. So so incredibly disappointed (please note ps connect on my mobile works perfectly).
A lot of reviews online about lag… rachet & clank : can’t move
FIFA : buttons don’t work (a tap is same as holding down)
Call of duty : not been worth trying
Astro world : lag
God of war : lag
Spiderman 2 : horrendous lag
Just thought I’d share my experience as once I started digging for reviews on Reddit etc … everyone seems to be experiencing the same (or a big amount of people)!
Did you creat another account. I’m not sure what then end goal is. Cos saying a large amount of people is over stating it.
The review on purchase places ,direct, Amazon, and co suggest otherwise. Even Reddit seems to suggest otherwise, not sure where this lots of people you claim are. Yes there are reports of lags. Here and there. Even your tune videos but the percentage seems minuscule compared to report of it working very fine.
Not saying there aint lags or issues or people experiencing it. Just seem to overstated
People seems to manage to play with ease using nothing close to your reported 600mb.
