This is not reliable nor accurate. Very dropped twice an hour ago. My cousin got one with a delivery date of 14/12/23. So gutted
Thanks for your comments and apologies if you feel we let you down. We did manually check for Very stock but were unable to confirm they actually had any stock. Very website stated Unavailable on their site and it did not change today. To avoid frustration we wouldn't send alerts without verification so if they had any stock then it must have all gone very quickly with only a small drop or the scalper bots were all over it?
Any indication as to when the next restock should be?
Smyths are stating Expected in stock: 13 Dec - 15 Dec 2023 on their website.
Why was there no alert for the restock of amazon today ?
We don't send stock alerts unless the stock level is reasonable because it is pointless sending thousands of emails if there is only one unit in stock as this would simply lead to further frustration. We manually verify stock availability before sending alerts and in this case we couldn't actually add the Playstation Portal to the basket due to Amazon website glitching so this would lead to even more frustration. We are currently looking at sending unverified stock alerts over our Telegram channel for those that understand it maybe a false alert. Would anyone be interested in this idea?

Would it be possible to add an Argos tracker?

I work at Argos and we’ve been told we may not be getting allocation of the Portal until January as currently for the U.K. PlayStation Direct, Game and Amazon are the priority.
These are subject to change based on how many more devices Sony release, but as it stands it’s not looking good! That’s why I’m having to check this every day for myself too!
Unfortunately, because of the way Argos website works by being very regional we have found stock checking unreliable. We often find there might be one in stock or available for delivery in the York area for example and send alerts which results in a lot of disappointed subscribers for the rest of the country. As such we cannot accurately inform subscribers of availability so do not list Argos at the moment.
Hey all, just wanted to share some information from the research I’m doing trying to get my hands on a Portal.
PlayStation hasn’t put another drop date on their UK site like they did for Wednesday the 22nd, so not looking like it’s going to be soon, but they might just drop without notice, who knows.
The US didn’t get that drop but their site says mid December, can’t say that the UK will get the same.
And Amazon pre-orders that have popped up have had a 2-3 months delivery time, so we might not get anything this side of the New Year.
Hopefully that isn’t the case, still checking multiple times a day.
