It just showed that smyths had some in stock and when I went to add to basket its out of stock! All yesterday I clicked on every single email, just like everyone else here and I'm about to give up on it.

Hi has anybody been into Smyths toys or know about where will be in stock? If this website isn’t updating us then hopefully if I get one I can update you all and hopefully vice versa times how many people are painstakingly waiting, I get email notifications so hopefully we can all work together! I rang my smyths this morning and they said we can’t buy in store it has to be reserved online and they can’t confirm when they’ll have them in. Honestly the guy was being so vague about it all. Was so annoying 😩
We do update via alerts over email and telegram. We just don't send thousands of people down a hopeless mission for a couple of items that will be out of stock in seconds leading to even more frustration and disappointment.
To be honest I'd like to be given a chance at bagging one. No use me getting an alert after you've checked it as by the time we get the alert we definitely don't have a chance. Kinda defeats the object of this stock alert system
In that case please use the Unverified Playstation Portal Telegram channel that will send out alerts before verification. At the moment this is for Amazon only but we are working on adding other stores too.
Be warned - most alerts will be for one or two units that have already been snapped up by bots.
I rang my local store in leicester and they said they will be getting more in buy don't know when and to keep eye on website
