I managed to get one from smyths this morning I rang up and they said they had 2 left but couldn’t reserve. This was the same store I called yesterday evening and they said they didn’t have any so guessing they had a delivery this morning maybe

Literally been stuck to my phone all week searching for stock and seem to always miss out by seconds followed everyone’s advice by going to store, which never pays out stores won’t reserve or allow me to pre-order. Do I just suck it up Pay over the odds and trust eBay sellers as it’s coming impossible and taking over my life just to fulfil my little boys Christmas present request
I wouldnt advise it. I would worry about warranty and guarantee.
Never pay above retail unless the item isn't be manufactured anymore, if you put money into a scalpers pocket they will continue to do this.

Just keep trying I have been doing this since the day it came out and been taking people advice from the chat you will get one I only just got one today it’s worth going down to your local smyths for when they open they don’t put there stock online because they have so little amounts

Do have a Smyths near you? If so go there, don’t rely on stock showing online as it won’t update. Smyths are getting deliveries every day around 10-11am…. Like you, I’ve been trying in vain and rang my local Smyths last night around 8pm and they confirmed they had a delivery but stock went straight away to people in store. I asked what time their delivery was today and went at 10.30am and got one!! Still showed out of stock online….
Amazon are completely useless, says in stock add to basket and you click checkout and its unavailable.
They may only have one or two units in stock each time or bots are getting the lot right away.
