Got through to Studio (clicked about 2 mins after receiving the email) and took about 45 minutes to get on to the site. Placed order but it's not confirmed - apparently they will confirm within 48 hours. I wonder if they are taking more orders than they have consoles? Will update!
Studio sold out already. It seems to me that EBay sellers are responsible for the difficulties we are experiencing. I've seen a number for sale on EBay showing the receipt, e.g. Digital Edition bought at £359.99 from Argos and selling at £510.00, and that's one of the cheaper ones. In desperation after weeks of trying I ordered one from EBay from a seller who didn't inflate the price too much. I'm now awaiting a refund whilst the seller is in dispute with Hermes as they delivered a baby carrier instead!
I hear BT customers may be able to get one if they log into their account quickly and get their code .. and wait in their q system - usually about 20mins

I was pinged from stock checkers about PS Direct but they have sold out within 20mins .. they also told me about BT
I had the chance yesterday when I checked our BT account and I rang my eldest son at work who has been waiting to buy one .. he said yes - go for it and when I go back this morning "nothing" ... I kick myself for not trying to buy it yesterday evening for him. My fault.
Collected from Argos today - phew ... even had to check the car park in case I was hi-jacked en-route.
No seriously - be aware that it is worth getting the 3-year insurance if offered ... why? because they are unreliable. Seems their quality check is poor and there are real problems with the graphic chip (due to serious global shortage due to Covid etc etc)
I got one for my son last Nov from Game and it went back on week 51 (one week before the end of its warranty) with bad error read faults and would not play games. It is now in the repair shop with Game but they cannot confirm if it will be replaced but at least it will be refunded and why I got another - with Insurance as I'm sure with my luck the next time it will happen will be after the warranty runs out.

Thanks, there do seem to be some bundles left with BT but you will need to have an access code to purchase.
