Looking for opinions. I am a casual gamer at best (my son already has an XSX) and I have a bog standard Xbox One with an LG OLED 55" BX 4k/120hz/2 ports hdmi 2.1. I see in all the comments on YT that if you have such a TV, get the XSX. However, being a casual gamer, I'm thinking of the S, even if there is no drive, less tflops, less cpu, less storage, etc.
Would you recommend the XSX purely because my TV can handle the specs or an XSS because again, I play verrrrry casually. I definitely don't want the package deals costing £650+, I'll pay at most £449.99 as we already share game pass ultimate.
Anyone have the S with an OLED 4k/120hz and happy with it?

Hi, if you are a casulas gamer, I suggest to buy a Series S, the console is very good and run easily to 2k resolution @ 60fps. If you are like me that, you don't play games like COD, Fortinite, PUB, ect, buy a Series X.
Ended up buying a Series S as I figured someday when the X is more available I could upgrade. I'm definitely a casual gamer but, been playing Fortnite. I'm not very good, worse than a "bot" my son says lol. However, it looks great on my LG Oled 55" and there's a setting on Fortnite that says I can choose 120fps. Not sure if it's true 120fps though.
Downloaded a few other games from Gamepass but not tried them. Since I sit a distance from the TV, I'm sure the Series S will look just fine. I like that it loads much quicker than my Xbox One and based on all the many Youtube videos I've watched, even the Series S is a massive upgrade compared to the Xbox One.
If I get more into gaming, I'll upgrade to the Series X but for now, the S will do.
