There was some stock of Xbox Series X at Amazon today - but you had to be really quick to secure one. Despite several bundles being available, the stock was gone across the range within about 6 minutes!
I it was so fast. I had one in the basket, and Amazon helpfully decided I needed to renter my card details, by the time that was done, they were gone
Please fix the algorithm that alerts on the Microsoft store as I do not trust it - showed as In Stock: 29/07/2021 4:32:08 AM
Out of Stock: 29/07/2021 5:32:20 AM - I have just wasted an hour of my life as was refreshing the store website the whole time and not once did the button change from ‘out of stock’ to enable me to purchase. This stock checker website is a great idea - provided it is accurate. Thanks.

We will take a look at this for you and try to implement a work-a-round. In the meantime, please only take note if we do actually send an alert via email or telegram for the Microsoft website. The Microsoft website has a habit of showing stock when they don't seem to have any.

I gave up on MS after a week of chasing my tail with their site.. I have the box on my basket and select checkout within seconds... but never any luck
We have now implemented some changes specific to Microsoft . This should give a more accurate reflection of Xbox stock at Microsoft

Hi, There are no hard and fast rules to the level of stock that we may send alerts. It's all down to giving subscribers the best chance of getting stock. This is calculated via a series of algorithms taking into account stock level (if available) and the popularity of the retailer amongst other factors.
Hmm I think most people using your servicest would like to take their chances and receive an email/Telegram alert even if there's limited stock and take their chances.
Are there technical or business constraints or would that work ok for your business model? Otherwise people may just revert to patiently waiting for return of normal stock levels in August/September or, setting up their own 'autorefresh and detect' plugin on retailers sites.

Thanks for your continued support for our service. We have been running stock checker sites since 2008 for many products under different websites. We used to send alerts as soon as we found stock but this lead to many complaints and a lot of frustration from our subscribers as stock can only last seconds in some situations. We therefore implemented changes to increase the chances of success and decrease dissatisfaction/frustration. This has worked well with a significant reduction in complaints and positive feedback for success.
We will continue to change and develop our systems to ensure we give the best service. We have some ideas surrounding this but it could take a while to implement.
Best of luck in the meantime, We don't think August/September will improve stock levels and with Christmas fast approaching stock could be limited into 2022
