Managed to get the Xbox series x ordered on line from Argos on 17 Sep. Yesterday they advised awaiting delivery but would be able to collect by 27 Sept. Today get email from them saying sorry will refund money in next 7 days no stock available. To say disappointed is understatement
Gutting :( I ordered from Argos on the 19th and collected in store on the 22nd. It was all smooth for me so surprised to see so many complaints about Argos. They were doing multiple restocks a week sometimes too
I rang AO this morning, they have confirmed a glitch with their system, they have had no stock for weeks and confirmed they do not anticipate getting any in for a long time. They claim their system has an error sending out stock updates when they actually have zero stock! ?

Its funny how ebay is always instock. The Scalpers are making a good living getting the stock first and reselling it for £50 more.
Sometimes more - it’s frustrating as I ordered with Ao went through paid for it to get a phone call later that night to say order could not be for filled- yet they come in stock today I tried from 06.56 to no joy ! And my money still hasn’t been refunded ! That’s the frustrating part

lol if you consider a £50 or £100 markup a good living you need to raise your expectations slightly. ?
You also have to take into consideration the eBay fees which used to work out about 10 percent and add the postage. You have to sell for over £500 just to break even.
